Defending Silver :stamp:

Okay, I love Silver! But some people think he's one of the worst character ever. I mean, why Silver? Is it because of his appearance in Sonic 06 or something?

Yeah, I am one of those crazy Silver fangirls. He's the top of my favourite Sonic character list. To make this short, I'm just gonna defend him.

This is just my option for not hating Silver. If you respect my option, I'll might respect yours as well

And no, I don't have the game Sonic 06 nor have played it. I've watched some reviews, gameplays, cutscene and even looked it up, so I know about the game alot.

- Being a main character in the worst sonic game:

Are you seriously!? To be honest, if make me pissed off! Are you going to hate Silver just that he appeared on a bad game? In my eyes, he's one of the best characters in the game. I mean, lifting up boxes and throw them at the emeny is actually kinda cool. Hell, he can even lift a car(or a cat XD) and throw it at Sonic whenever he wants!

-His boss fights

I have to laugh at this one XD Why? If your stuck between Silver and a wall when you play as Sonic, guess what happends XD Hearing Silver say "It’s no use!" a couple of minutes or hours might get annoying, so I understand you there. And it's actually kind of good to see a fight a boss that is not easy to beat in a game.

-His "pot-leaf" quills

Okay, I have to say this right away! He is NOT a "pot-head"! He quills are based on the japanese maple leaf, which also has five blades! And a pot leaf has seven or nine, so SEGA knew what they were doing! And do you want his quills to be like Sonic's and Shadow's?

His boots

People complain that he wear boots!!? What the f*ck is wrong with people?! Are you just bored and can't complain about something else? What? You gonna complain about Sonic eye colour to? Oh wait, YOU ALREADY DID!! Besides, real men wear boots, right?

-His voice

Is the voice acting REALLY that bad? Honestly, this fandom is never satisfied with the voice acting! That makes me kinda irritated when thinking about it..

-Naive

He's 14, what did you expect? Actually, I love Silver's personality. It really different from Sonic and the other characters. People only love Sonic for his "coolness" and Shadow for his "badassness"(I am one of them XD), but I love Silver for his personality

-Doesn’t have super-speed

*facepalms* Are you kidding me!? This is the worst than the first option I mention! You hate him because he's not fast!? What the hell guys?! He has psychokinesis, which is more badass than running and Chaos Control combined! If he had super-speed and his psychokinesis , he'd be overpowered! And think about it; if he had those powers in a game, you'd wouldn't be able to beat him all! And you will hate him even more! Hell, I would even get pissed off myself! Plus, he can travel fast with his psychokinesis. Not as fast as Sonic and Shadow, but still quite fast.

-Sonic and Shadow clone

Just because he's another hedgehog doesn't mean he's a damn Shadow or Sonic clone. Amy is a hedgehog, is she a clone because of it? Plus, Slver design and personality are much differant than Sonic's and Shadow's. Silver is more bad-tempered and bossy and such. Silver also trusts others more easilty thanks to his naiveness ect.

-Ruins Sonaze

There aren't any canon couples guys. Why even bother? You can ship what you want, even if it is canon. I like Sonaze, just not that much. I do like Silvaze a little, not that much either. I see them as close friends and even brother and sister. I really love the last cutscene in Silver's story. I felt sorry for Silver and it also made me cry myself.

-Tried to kill Sonic

Haven't you played Sonic story or even seen Silver cutscene yet? Mephiles fooled Silver! Even thought Silver tried to kill Sonic, does that mean he's happy about it? He even showed he’s uncomfortable with it. If he asked me to the question "To killing someone to save the world...is the right thing to do?", I would say "If the person was evil, then yes!" Or if I felt uncomfortable like Silver, I would stay quiet, sit next to him and share with his uncomfortable. Silver later saves Sonic from a hoard of Eggman’s robots, and Sonic accepted it gratefully. And then they started to work together, so yeah, obviously they’ve put it behind them. To be honest, I would have a grin on my face if Silver killed Sonic. Why? Well, think about this; how often do you see ANY main character DIE in a movie/comic/tw-show/video game/whatever at all? I actually liked the scene when Mephiles killed off Sonic! That was damn badass! Hell, even my big sister liked it and she isn't a Sonic fan at all. That's why I like Mephiles. Have you seen Dr. Eggman kill Sonic yet? I didn't think so.

So yeah, that's all I guess.

I bet that you Silver fangirls(and boys XD) would totally agree with me XD
